About
Our editorial principles, attribution, and corrections process.
A practical resource for careful marketers
GEO Primer helps brand, content-marketing, and small marketing teams understand AI search, review their content, and choose a useful next learning step. The starting point is simple: understand the system’s limits and build content that a reader can inspect.
Who is responsible for the content
Launch articles are attributed to the GEO Primer editorial team. Each guide, term, research note, and checklist displays its author, publication date, review date, scope, and sources. This is editorial attribution, not a claim of academic credentials, platform affiliation, or independent experimental validation.
Editorial principles
- Link to original material and explain which claim it supports.
- Keep research findings, product documentation, observations, and editorial recommendations distinct.
- State what is unknown, including sample limits and possible changes over time.
- Prefer clear, useful explanations to unsupported scores and promises.
- Keep source attribution visible. Research notes are original interpretations; we do not redistribute paper PDFs.
Corrections
Sources and review dates make it possible to challenge and improve an entry. To report an issue, include the page URL, the exact passage, and an original source where possible. Our contact page shows whether a contact channel is currently available. We do not claim a response-time commitment.
Self-service, not consulting
The learning path and free tools are self-service resources. We do not offer custom GEO consulting, agency delivery, or guaranteed outcomes. A possible future Page Lab is separate from the current free tools; it is not a paid product you can purchase in phase one.
